Who are you on the inside of a cage built from loyalty?

GARRETT ALDEN
Garrett chose order over conscience when survival demanded loyalty — and he lives every day inside the cost of that choice.
A protector hardened into an instrument, built from duty and silence, Garrett enforces one system over another as a custodian of an imperfect truth — but every line he holds costs him another piece of himself.
Raised in instability and shaped by fear, Garrett learned to trust systems before he trusted people. Structure offered safety. Authority offered protection. Over time, obedience became identity.
As Amara’s enforcer, he learned to suppress doubt, justify cruelty, and measure worth in usefulness. Yet he never fully silenced his moral awareness — only buried it beneath duty.
Torn between protection and complicity, Garrett exists in permanent tension: guarding others while sacrificing himself.
He enforces order not because he believes in it — but because he no longer knows who he is without it.

The world decides what you are.
What you become is something else entirely.
